Budget Friendly Organic Shopping List

Last week we discussed some tips on How to Eat Organic on the Cheap, and this week I’m going to walk you through the process from list to serving dish. You’ll get 3 delicious, healthy, and organic meals to feed a family of four all for under $25 if you follow this week’s organic shopping list!

I sat down, armed with my local store’s weekly ads, to craft my meal plan. I browsed the sales, circled my choices, printed a coupon or two, and tallied my estimated totals. I was a bit nervous at first, because $25 dollars a day just seemed so low, but to my surprise, I came under budget on my first attempt. That goes to show just how easy budgeting organic meals can be if you have an organic shopping list and a strong meal plan. Here’s what I came up with:

Menu and Organic Shopping List:

Breakfast: Organic quick oats with raspberries, chia seeds, and honey. $10.13

Lunch: Fiesta Salad- Organic spring mix topped with avocado, black beans, and a hint of lime juice. $7.94

Dinner: Mini eggplant pizzas paired with a side of organic pasta. $6.23

Total: $24.30
